JuSt WaItInG!

Anyday now we will be meeting our sweet little baby boy! We are getting so excited and anxious all at the same time... Yesterday was my last day of work for a couple months. I am happy I made it up to this point, cleaning teeth is not easy when you have a baby sitting right under your rib. Especially when your sitting in the same position for 8 hours:) If it wasn't for him punching and kicking my ribs I probably would of finished working the rest of the week. I can't complain though, it will be so NICE having a week and half(maybe) off, so I can get things all ready, and have time with just Jordyn before he comes. Jordyn is growing up way to fast. She started preschool this week, and LOVES it! She is learning so much and I can't believe she will be 4 this year! Here are some random fun pics I had on my camera. Jordyn has been loving to jump on the bean bag at the bottom of our stairs...She also LOVES her baths. She will sit in it for hours, and just play with her barbies:) I'm not sure if I'm ready to give my time up with just Jordyn. There, I said it. I know I will love this little boy just as much as I love Jordyn, but I am selfish. I love giving all my attention to Jordyn and just spending the day with her. I am sure once he comes it will be awesome, and I won't feel this way! But I am kind of nervous....
And last of course I had to include another prego pic. I feel really bad I only have a few with him, and a million with Jordyn. Believe me I don't like taking these pics, but they will be fun to compare and look back on...My face looks swollen, and I have gained more weight than I wanted, but oh well no stretch marks, and I can still wear my rings.. I can't complain though because he will be so worth it:)

WhaT We'Ve BeEn uP tO.......

OuR HOUSE is finally starting to feel like a HOME! I have been really slow at decorating, and hanging things up on the wall! There is so much I want to do, but want to make sure I really like it before I hang it up our buy it! Thanks to pinterest I have been getting so many ideas..Now we just need all the money to do them! The nursery is also coming along, I have a few more things to do and then I'll be ready for the baby!




My belly is huge and I am now very uncomfortable. This little boy loves to tuck his foot right under my right rib! He also gets the hiccups about 4 times a day...I have been getting so many Braxton hicks, I'm starting to think this is normal to have them 24/7. Maybe thats a sign he is coming early! I really haven't taken to many pictures with this pregnancy, so I thought I'd better have at least one!


Jordyn has been growing up way to fast! She can now say her ABC's and count to 20(most days)! She is such a sweet little girl, and is always helping me! She loves giving my stomach kisses everyday and she can't wait for her baby brother to get here! Jordyn is starting preschool in March. I can't believe it! She will be going 4 days a week for 3 hours, and then will also be taking a ballet class along with her tap/Jazz.

Jordyn loves this pink little monkey Grandma bought her, and this old teddy bear that was mine when I was little! She brings them everywhere, and sleeps with them every night!


I sold our Geo Prizm! Haha this little car has been such a great investment. We bought it 2 years ago for $500, just to get us from point A to B, and through school. Grant would basicly drive it just to pick up Jordyn or go the gym. Other than that we really didn't use a second car. Anyway it wouldn't pass emmisions this year, and we weren't about to put $900 in it for new power steering. So I listed it on KSL and within an hour it sold for $1000...What a good little investment right?!! We doubled our money within 2 years:) So now we have to find another little car that will hopefully do the same!

Happy Valentines day! I am one lucky girl to have such a SEXY valentine.. Grant truley is my other half. He makes me the happiest girl in the world♥ Jordyn and I are so lucky to have him all to ourselves.
I also love my other little valentine so much! Jordyn is such a SWEET girl. She is growing up way to fast, and I just want it to stop! Next month she will be a big sister, and I know she will be such a big help. She is so excited and already acts like a little Mom.
I feel so blessed, and am so thankful for my cute little family! I LOVE them so much!
These were Jordyn's little Valentines we made this year. We put a sucker in her hand so it looked like she was handing out suckers!!

Valentines day was so much fun. I had to work so Grant and Jordyn came into my work and took me to lunch. Then after work we headed over to Grandma Kari and Bompas house for a Valentine party! My mom was so cute and had the house all decorated for the kids. They made their own heart pizzas, had ovaltine shakes, and decorated cookies and cupcakes! Then the doorbell rangand cupid left Valentines for all the kids. What a fun night!

Baby Boy Hyland!! 31 weeks and counting....

Here are some cool 3D ultrasound pictures I had done last week! It was so fun being able to se his cute little face...I think he looks a lot like Grant, I guess we'll see if I'm right! I am getting SO excited to meet this little boy! He is definitely a kicker and my ribs will be so happy once he's out:) I wouldn't have it any other way though, I have been feeling great and it's gone by so fast! I am trying to get things ready now since I know he will be here in no time! I have about 8 weeks to go!

CHriSTmAs FeStiVitiES!

I L♥ve this time of year....
Wow!! I am getting behind on my blogging again! These past few months have been so busy, and just flown right by... We had our usual Gingerbread house decorating, shrimp dinner at Grandma Tootsie's, Christmas lights downtown, friends party at our house, tons of family parties, Our Norwegain Christmas Eve, and crazy busy christmas day! Whew!!! Next year I am going to try and simpify things a little more and enjoy more through the holidays! Don't get me wrong I love all that we do, we just do so much and I feel like I just rush through everything...I want to enjoy it more! Here is a picture overload of December happenins!! Jordyn was so cute...I just LOVE this age..I don't want her to grow up. She wanted a dancing baby for Christmas, and was very spoiled by Santa Claus. She must of been a very good girl! She left cookies and chocolate milk for Santa, and carrots and water for the reindeer. Next year is going to be even better with a new little one around. I can't wait to see Jordyn with him. She already loves him so much and makes sure she kisses and rubs my belly every nighT!!















Jordyn also had her first dance recital on December 17! Her class danced to I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus. Well I must say she stole the show, and it wasn't because of her dancing! She cried the whole time on stage...Poor little thing. She just stared out into the huge crowd, and then of course saw me in the audience and then the tears came rolling down her face.It was the saddest thing ever. She still looked pretty cute though:) I guess better luck in the Spring huh!

ThanKsGiving 2011!!

Thanksgiving is really such a neat Holiday!! I have so so much to be thankful for....I don't even know where to start! First off I am so thankful for my wonderful husband, he is the BEST~ I am so thankful for my healthy sweet daughter. Jordyn is the light of our life, and we are so excited for our baby boy to get here. I am also so thankful for our wonderful family and friends. Grant and I have the best families ever, and I am so thankful we are all so close! I am also thankful for our new house we have! We have worked so hard to get to where we are at. I look back at where Grant and I first started and we made it through living with parents, to our town home and now our new house! We have learned and grown so much throughout the years! I am also thankful that Grant and I both have jobs that we love so much...Last but not least I am so thankful for our Heavenly Father! I know I am far from perfect, but I do have a testimony of the gospel and I am so thankful to have it in our lives!!

This year for Thanksgiving we spent it with my family! My Cute Mom had 35 people this year...It was quite the crowd. She is amazing though, and did such a fabulous job!!!! She just amazes me every year...Of course we had way to much food, and dessert! Then we just sat around and played bingo, and read our fortune cookies! Later that night we scoped out all the adds, and planned where we were going shopping:)
