What a nice surprise!!

The weather has been so nice lately..All I want to do is play outside with Jordyn! Last week when I picked her up I decided to take her over to Gardner Village. They have a really cute petting zoo and lil ponies you can ride! Well to our surprise we walked in and Deron Williams and his kids were there too! He was so nice to take a picture with us...He is a real nice guy! I thought it would be a fun picture for Jordyn to have..I remember looking back at my pictures of me with Scotty Pippen and Shaq. I thought they were so cool. Anyway Jordyn had such a fun time riding the ponies and petting all the animals. There was a really cute baby goat that kept following her everywhere, she thought it was so neat!

My child is hooked on edamame's!! I love them and eat them all the time...If you have not tried them you need to...They are little soybeans you eat right out of the shell. They have a ton of protien and are known as the "wonder veggie", because they are so good for you. Well Jordyn loves them just as much as I do. You would think that kids would hate them, but not Jordyn! She is so funny....Her favorite foods consist of cereal, edamame, black beans and diet coke. mmmmm...I think my child is taking after me! Oh by the way I do not give my child diet coke..Grandma Kari does!

EaStEr 2010!

Easter weekend was a crazy but fun one! We had a Easter egg hunt on Saturday at my Uncle Rick's, and one on Sunday at my Grandma Tootsie's! Jordyn loved finding the eggs...It was so much fun watching her run to each egg and getting so excited to put it in her basket!! The easter bunny found our house and brought Jordyn some fun things..She loved the tea party set! I just can't get over how big and independant she is getting..It makes me so sad! But it is also fun on the other hand to see what a cute little girl she is becoming...listening to conference was aslo an important part of our Sunday! This year it touched me more than usual..maybe its because I am a mom now and get very emotional! I am just so thankful for the church and the the wonderful prophet we have to help and guide us! My family means the world to me and I am so grateful to be a mom to the cutest lil stinker ever! I hope everyone had a very Happy Easter!!!

On Friday we got together with the family and died Easter eggs...Jordyn was such a big girl and decorated her own eggs(of course she broke a couple along the way)but she did so good!! She also did a great job at decorating herself...She had it everywhere:) It was so fun to watch her be creative and do her own thing! She thought she was so cool with all the big kids....
