We had a fun and crazy Memorial weekend...We were suppose to go camping with some friends but right at the last minute Jordyn came down with a horrible cough and teething(which she has eight now) that kept her up all night..So, we decided to stay home..We hung out with the families all weekend and had some fun bbq's. On Sunday we went and saw my Grandma and Grandpa's graves...Jordyn loved sitting right on the headstone and kept leaning down to kiss it, maybe she knew it was really Grandma..It was pretty cute in a wierd kind of way:) Then on Monday we just hung out and had another family bbq..This day started off kind of bad. Jordyn burned her two fingers on my straightner(which was really dramatic), then she wouldn't go to anyone and was really clingy the whole day. Then at my Mom's we all decided it would be fun to break out the teatherball and play, well a couple minutes into it when I was playing Grant I slammed my finger and it popped!! I couldof swore I broke it. It hurt so bad. I took an xray at work and it looked okay, but its nice and fat and swollen..Oh well I guess thats what I get!! I still would of beat Grant though...He won't admit it:)

TuRnInG 1 iN a MoNtH!

Jordyn is growing way to fast! Another month and she'll be one...She stands up on her own and is almost walking. She took two steps the other night, so I'm sure it will be any day now!
It's still the same old with us..Grant's real estate is picking up, so thats good, and I've just been counting down the days until I start the Hygiene program(about 2 months)! Other than that were just ready for some summer getaways!

DaTe NiGhT @ ThE BeE's GaMe!

The other night Grant and I went out on a date...It was so nice to get away just the two of us, even if it was only for a couple hours! We went to the Bee's game with Grant's buddy Brad, and his girlfriend Brittiany. We had a great time!...We talked about making this date night a habit of once a week..Hopefully it will last:)

Mother's Day!

I celebrated my first Mother's day!! It was such a great day... I am so thankful I have the oppurtunity to be a Mom to the cutest little girl ever! Being a Mom is such a hard but very rewarding job...Its amazing how your Motherly instincts kick in and you know what to do under scary circumstances...Like this past week for example,when Jordyn kept running high fevers from her ear infection. I just knew she wasn't right and kept calling my pediatrician....Well come to find out none of the antibiotics were working, so they had to give her a shot. Thank goodness that worked! Anyways she's all better and back to normal:) We celebrated Mother's day at my Mom's with the family. I am so lucky to have such great women in my life (Mom, Mother-in-law and Grandma's).They are such great examples to me and mean the world. I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!!!!

aLmOsT WaLkIn,EaR InFeCtIoNs, aNd SiCk!!

So Jordyn is just about walking! She is pretty good at balancing on her own, and loves to walk with her little walker!! This weekend was no fun for her,(and me)since she had a ear infection combined with a bad cold, and teething! The Dr put her on Augmentin which I don't love because it gives her diahrea+diaper rashes, and stomache aches.....Oh well what do you do right??? She has still been so cute and good despite all of this. I love that all she wants to do is cuddle, and give me loves!!! So here's to a healthier and better week ahead!
