ChRiStMaS DaY!!!

Jordyn was so cute this year for Christmas!! It is so fun now that she somewhat understands whats going on...After opening each present she would say Santa and point to the ornament of him on the tree! Jordyn was so confused at first, and it took her a little bit to wake up..Then she dove right in and was playing with all her toys. ..She especailly loved riding her pink horse.
Christmas came and went very quickly this year. It was crazy busy, but very fun. We were able to enjoy time with both of our families, eat, eat and eat some more, make memories, and celebrate the birth of our Savior. It was perfect.....and so much fun! Bompa and Gam Kari..

ChRiStMaS EvE!!

Christmas Eve is always a big day for my Mom's side of the family! We always get together and do all of our Norwegian traditions...We wear our sweaters and then have our yummy Norwegian food(cooked cabbage, lutefisk, korv, and lots of other stuff) then the yulenissan(Norwegain Santa claus) comes and hands out gifts to the kids. Then we have rice pudding, and sometimes dance around the christmas tree.. We always have a good time, I love my Norwegian heritage. We definitely take it serious! ...I think it's finally starting to grow on Grant:)

I got a cool New kids on the block folder from Chad..Thanks:) Our presents this year had to be form the DI for under five bucks, with a heart felt letter...It was alot of fun!

Grandma Tootsie's Christmas Shrimp dinner!

Every year the week before Christmas my cute Grandma Tootsie does a big shrimp dinner! She also likes to do all of our Christmas this day to..She is the cutest thing ever. She always spoils us so much! I really do not know how she does it all. She is the most amazing woman ever!!! Nothing better than hanging out with family all day and eating till you almost pop!!

BuSy MoNtH!!

These past couple weeks have been very busy...Finishing up with finals(wahooo), family parties, dates and lots of other stuff!! I am so excited to be done with school for four weeks!!! I can't wait to just spend lots of time with Jordyn. She is growing way to fast..She is starting to say lots of words. She is a very smart girl!! She already wants to sit on the potty, and then after she's done she says "kaka" and flushes it. I just love her to death!! Christmas time is so much fun, especially with kids..Jordyn is starting to warm up to Santa. It has taken her a while..But I dont blame her, who would want to sit on a strangers lap:)
Anyway I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
