One serious pumpkin carving contest!

So needless to say Grant and I did not win the contest this year! The pumpkin we carved was pretty tricky, it looked alot easier than it really was(its supposed to be a football player with a helmet on).. My family is so crazy, they time you right down to the minute, then we have judges come over and pick out the winner...Oh well better luck next year......! These were our last minute costumes we threw together!

My favorite time of the year!

Well fall is officially here and it is my favorite time of the year! I love everything about this month ..everywhere you look there are brown, red and orange leaves(which Grant and I were raking and playing in today!!), haunted houses, the sweet smell of pumpkin and cinnamon scents, pumpkin cookies(mmmm..my favorite), Halloween costumes, and all the fun partys! I especially love the trip to the pumpkin patch to pick out that perfect pumpkin for carving. This is a tradition in our family to have a huge pumpkin carving contest, and boy is it serious. You are timed right down to the last minute, and then we have a judge come over and pick out the winner. Grant and I were so lucky to win it last year so this year the pressure is on...Also I can't forget to mention college football season,(another reason why fall is the best!) Nothing better than going to the U of U games and sporting your red gear! Go Utes!!!!!!!

Coed Softball!

So, Grant and I have been playing on a coed softball team with our friends every Monday night! At first I was pretty nervous playing with the guys, but I got use to it pretty quick....It's actually been a lot of fun playing with Grant. Well, Softball is over now and my sister talked us into playing on a soccor league(which is going to be really scary, seeing how I've never played soccor a day in my life) I guess we'll see how it goes!!

Visiting Grandma!

What a day! Grant has to work on Saturdays now(which totally sucks), but I got to hang out with the fam so I can't complain. So today we all went up to see my sweet Grandma Kari at the care center. She is so cute and it always makes my day better when I get to see her. She is the Grandma from Norway, so of course we got all of our Norwegian traditions from her(and believe me there are a ton)! Grant always makes fun of my family saying were crazy with all of our traditions we have... I just tell him life would be so boring without them, right? Traditions are great to have and I am definately going to keep them going!!

Our 3rd Anniversary!!

As you probably already know Grant and I are huge Utah fans! The season has started and its been so much fun, even though we've lost 3 and only won 1:( Grant and I celebrated our third anniversary on September 15, we had a football game that day and to our surprise they one! It must of been cause it was our anniversary!! Final score was Utah 44 UCLA 6

Wow, I can't believe its been 3 years already. Grant is the best and I love him so much!!
