So for my graduation gift Grant got me what I have been wanting for years!!
A new Cannon Rebel with the additional lens.

Now, I just have to figure out how to work it!! Any suggestions?!?

I graduated from Dental Hygiene!!! Enough said...It was a hard hard program, but I am so glad I followed through with it! Now here I am a RDH. Wow!! I am so relieved that is all behind me now. I will be starting work on Tuesday. I am so excited to go back to the office I assisted at for 7 years!! It is very scary thinking about how I had 3 hours to clean a patient and now I have 40 mins. YIKES! I really hope I can do it.(I better) I know the first little while will be tough, but it's going to be SO nice not to have an instructor watching over me constantly, and having to check everything. So here's to a new beginning, and putting school behind me for now, until I get my bachelors! That won't be for a while, and I can do that online(thank goodness)!


A special thanks to both our parents!! I could not have done this with out them! They helped out so much with Jordyn. My Mom was like her Mom for the past two years! We love them so much!


And a very special thanks to the Lover of my life! Grant you are my rock and I could not have done this with out you..You pushed me so hard to get things done, and cheered me on! I love you so much! Thanks for staying with me these past two years, even though I was a crazy lady:) Love ya.

MOtHeR's DaY!

Mother's day was PERFECT!!! I could not have asked for a better day. I have the best Mom, and Mother in law I could ever ask for...I am the luckiest girl in the world to have such an amazing husband, and have the cutest little girl ever! What more could I ask for?!? Grant was so cute and made my Mom,Jordyn and I breakfast...Then we had a nice relaxing day, and enjoyed spening the day with our families!

EaSteR 2011!

Easter flew bye this year. It probably had to do with the fact that I was finishing up school and boards! Jordyn calls the Easter bunny 'hop hop". She was so excited for Easter, and to decorate eggs. Every holiday is getting more fun as she gets older...So we did our yearly Easter egg decorating party at my Aunt's. Then we had a Easter egg hunt party at my Mom's on Saturday. Then on Sunday we headed up to Grandma Tootsie's and did her big Easter party. Then we headed over to Grant's parents for their Easter party! Yes we are crazy, we love to party! So needless to say Jordyn had 4 Easter egg hunts and 5 parties! It was a great weekend, spending time with our families and celebrating Easter!

Easter morning Jordyn woke up to eggs that led to her Easter basket, then she found the carrots the Easter bunny munched on! She was so cute, and got so excited to find her basket...Here are a ton of pics(not in order)from Easter!

The BIG day is here! I finished Hygiene school....

WoW! I can't believe this day is finally here. Today was my last day of Dental Hygiene school FOREVER! It was crazy walking out for the very last time. It was bittersweet. I definitely will not miss school, and the studying, but will miss all the girls. We all have become the best of friends, and they are like family to me! We have grown so close the past two years, and I will miss them so much. Our instructors have been awesome as well. We were very lucky to have such caring, genuine instructors. They all wanted us to succeed and it showed. They were there to help us every step of the way, and taught us so much!
Yesterday we cleaned out our rooms, and took our instruments home. It feels so GREAT to be done!! I am completely finished with all my boards. I should find out my results of the last one(written) next week. Then I will get my license...YAY! It should only take a few weeks(hopefully)! I am going to try and catch up on my blogging, there has been SO much going on these last few months.
The most EXCITING part aboout this all is I get actually spend time with my family!! I can't wait to just hang out, and not be stressed. I feel like I will actually be a good Mom and wife now:) LOL.Anyway, my Hygiene class graduation was last week, and my actual graduation is Thursday! SO I will be posting lots of pics..For now here are some fun pictures from the last few months!

Anethesia written and clinical!

WOw! This had to be one of the most stressful days of my life..Friday March 25 I took my anesthesia board exam. I had studied for 2 weeks straight, reading my anesthesia book from front to back! I made sure I would not be taking this exam again! SO the morning of the big day, I woke up drank an orange juice and took an aspirin(this is suppose to help you when your takin a test). I got to school, and headed into a classroom to take the written portion first! The exam had 50 questions, and I circled about 8 that I was unsure of. After we took the exam all of us girls had to wait, until we recieved an envelope that said we either passed or failed. If we failed we had to go home, and that meant you were done. scary, huh?!! Anyway, so the man brought all the envelopes out and we were all so nervous to open them up..Sure enough I just ripped mine open, and there it said CONGRATULATIONS, you passed!! Oh I seriously almost cried in relief! The written portion was what I was most worried about! Luckily everyone in my class passed! (we are awesome) So, after that we headed over to the clinic so we could give our injections. My partner was Julie, and my PSA and IA went well! I never really shook, but this day I could not stop my hand from shaking, it was actually pretty funny! Well, After I gave my injections I went back in the waiting room, to wait for my second envelope to see if I passed the injections! I rushed over to the envelope as soon as he brought it out, and there there it said, Congratulations you passed and are certified to give anesthesia! 2 boards down, 2 boards pending and 1 to go!! I am still waiting on the results for my clinical and process of care, and I take my written on April 19! Can't wait for this to all be done!

I can do this!!!

This quote is what I am trying to get into my head...These last few weeks have been so brutal! I have 3 of my boards this month. I just took my clinical last week, and I have been feeling so stressed about it! I honestly don't know how I am going to make it through these next few weeks. I just have to take one day at a time, and keep reminding myself I CAN do this!! I promise once I finish in May, I will update my blog..I have lots of fun things to post about!
FYI. I have 4 weeks of school left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
