OuR trip to SaN FrAn!

Grant and I planned a fun getaway to San Fran for our birthdays and anniversary! We left the kids with Grandma and Grandpa, and spent 5 days with just the two of us;) oh and 3 of Grant's buddies!! Haha! We originally planned this trip with a few other couples and they backed out at the last minute, so it left me with all the guys! We had such a great time, and rented out a cute little house. It was awesome and our room had a huge sky light so we were able to see all the lights, and the bridge at night. So pretty!!! We had a few days to just tour San Fran and visit fun places. It was during the dang government shutdown so we werent able to your Alcatrez or the parks, but we still took a fun boat tour around Alcatrez and under the golden gate bridge. We took a trolley down town and stopped at the giradelli chocolate factory(so good!!!). We visited fishrmans wharf and shopped, and ate at some yummy resteraunts!! Their sour dough bread is amazing!!! Then on Sunday we went to the candlestick stadium and watched the 49ers play. It was so awesome to be at the NFL game. The fans were crazy, and it was such a huge stadium. Our seats were awesome and we were 15 rows up from the field! They ended up beating the Texans!  We had such a great time, and it was so nice to getaway with just the two of us;) although we did miss the kids so much!

Wyatt::18 months

Can't believe my little man is 18 months already!! Wyatt is such a sweetheart, and has the cutest personality. He loves to tease, especially his sissy;) He loves to tease me, and will only say Dadda. He is obsessed with motorcycles, and carries his little toy one wherever he goes. He loves 3 things right now, his bottle, blankie and motorcycle! I am in the progress of taking his bottle away! Wish me luck!!! His favorite words to say are vroom vroom, Dadda, uh oh, wow, and roar. He sleeps so good still, about 9 to 10 hours, and takes one nap. He is such a big boy and is wearing 3T. He goes in for his check up next week. This kid is all BOY and loves to throw things, climb everywhere, wrestle, throw food, and run away. He is so much fun and we love him SO much. He is such a blessing in our family. We love you Wy Wy!

Happy Birthday to my stud of a husband! We celebrated his birthday a few weeks ago, so I'm a little behind! I am such a lucky girl to be married to the man of my dreams! Grant is such a blessing in my life, and I don't know what I would do without him. Even though he is turning into an old man I still love him more and more e everyday;) we combined our birthday presents and anniversary and are going on a trip to San Francisco in the next little bit. We are so excited;)

Jordyn starts Kindergarten!!

Jordyn started Kindergarten on August 2. She was so excited to finally be in school. Her teacher is Mrs.Karen, and she goes in the afternoon for a half day. She was so excited for her first day. We picked out a cute backpack and some new outfits. It doesn't seem like back to school, cause she is year round, so starting in July seemed wierd. I'm sure we will get use to it though:)
I am so proud of Jordyn, and the cute little girl she has become. She is so sweet and is always thinking of others! She is very detailed, and I am amazed at how fast she catches on. She is very coordinated, and loves to help me with everything! She is my little sidekick and I couldn't ever imagine my life without her. We are so lucky to be her parents! It is crazy at how fast she is growing up, and I still can't believe she's in kindergarten. I am so proud of her, and I know we have many many fun years ahead;)

Jackson Hole!

We went to Jackson Hole over the 4th of July!! It was such a blast!!  I was a little worried to camp with a one year old for 6 days in a tent, but Wyatt was a champ! Both kids did so good! We had a great time with lots of family and friends. Jordyn was in heaven with all her little girl friends!  The kids were able to go on the raft, and Wyatt sure hated his life jacket. He screamed the whole way down, and to make matters worse he pooped and I didn't have anything to change him. So he was not a happy rafter;) that was quite the experience. We all took turns watching everyone's kids, so the adults could go the white water rapids. The kids loved going to the beach, and went daily! We also went into Jackson and had a yummy dinner and then watched fireworks! I love this tradition!! Jackson Hole is such a beautiful place, I told Grant I wouldn't mind moving there(if only we could afford it);)
