Well, Grant had a great idea!! Grant brought home some balloons and we tied her binky to 3 of them. Jordyn was so sad and crying the whole time. We told her that her binky was going to another baby, and that she was a big girl now.
Well, we finally let the balloons go. Jordyn was just screaming! Needless to say the wind caught the balloons and they bounced off our neighbors trailor and got stuck on their roof. Seriously like this wasn't bad enough! Jordyn ran over to the neighbors house screaming hysterically. She could see the binky hanging off the roof. We didn't know whether to laugh or cry with her:) Our plan failed! Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Well we decided we needed to do it again. We were determined to do this. So off Grant went to get more balloons. This time he came home with 8 of them. We were not going to let that happen again!! So we tried it again. It was succesful. Jordyn did much better this time, and was not crying. She was just sad. She watched them float up in the air, and was waving bye bye. We kept talking to her about it and asking her where it went. She would reply the baby has it. It turned out to be a great idea. Jordyn has done so well. The first night without it she slept for 10 hours. We are going on day 3 without it, and she is doing great!! Good job Jordy Bug!!!....We love you. Now its on to potty training.....wish me luck. If anyone has great tips send them my way, I am clueless.
The failed plan!!!
Successful!

K thats a cute way to get rid of the Bink! We may have to use that one. Poor Jordyn. Glad she is doing good without it. Brooks is attached to the bink more than braxton ever has been!
What an awesome idea! Aven is 2 and a half, and I still give it to her at nights! I needed something like this...I don't want to do the cutting thing either. Thanks! Hope you guys are good.
