Coupons are GREAT!

So my good friend Naomi is an all time pro at using coupons, and getting such good deals! Whatever she gets is pretty much free, she nows exactly how to work them so you get money back and can use it toward other stuff.. So I decided that I want to take this on and start learning how to be a couponer. Well let me just tell you how much money and savings we've already saved. I got 15 jumbo size Huggies diapers and 65 boxes of Huggies wipes and 80 of the trial size wipes and I've only paid about $15 dollars for all of it! Isn't that amazing!! Thats what you would spend on one thing of diapers. We have saved well over $300.00. I am truley sold on using coupons and have quite the addiction now. I never realized how expensive having a baby could be so I am stocking up now! So I must apologize now if any of you get stuck behind us in a line using our coupons because you will be waiting a LONG time! Thanks Naomi for sucking me in..

It's a GIRL!

Hurray!! We found out that were having a GIRL! It was so amazing seeing her! She is always moving constantly, and it was very hard to see her hoo hoo. Finally she cooperated and we got a good view...I loved the picture with her hand and foot, atleast we know she has all five fingers! :)Grant and I can hardley wait to meet her!

Well I finally decided to announce the good news! We are expecting!! I was very hesitant for a while, and scared as well.. Back in October 2006 I went through a nightmare of a miscarriage. I didn't even know I was pregnant with twins until the day we found out they were gone at about 11 weeks, and unfortunately had to have a D&C. I won't go into many details , but there was so much more that happened so needless to say, it caused me so much pain and heartache, that I was SCARED to death to get pregnant again!! I finally put my faith in the Lord and knew it was part of his plan, and that everyone has their own set of trials and that this was one of mine!
It took me forever to actually want to believe I was really pregnant, and that everything would be okay. So far everything looks good and thank goodness there is only one this time and not two. We find out in a couple of weeks what we are having! YAY! My due date is June 26. Grant and I are so excited and just can't wait for our little miracle!!

2008 here we come!

Going to Temple square is a must every year! Its just not Christmas without seeing the lights and walking around!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! I can't believe how fast it flew by..Wow 2008 here we come! It was so fun being with all the families and doing all of our usual traditions. It's almost CHRISTMAS!!!

WOW! Time is flying by and Christmas will be here before we know it...My mom loves to send out christmas cards of the whole family in there christmas pajamas. So here is one of our crazy pics. Usually we don't open our pajamas until christmas eve, but now we get them a month early due to the christmas cards...:)I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. This year I was so excited to write Grant a very long letter of all the ways I am so thankful for him. He is amazing in so many ways, and I don't know what I would do without him.!! Also I have the greatest family ever, and I am so blessed to have them in my life...

Crazy cookie day!

Every year all the girls in my family get together and bake Norwegian cookies. It's another one of our crazy traditions! So this year my Aunt wanted to have it up at her cabin. So Grant and I headed up to Park City early on Sunday morning. We baked all day and had cookies coming out our ears. Grant and all the guys just hung out and watched football.

It was so much fun, and now I don't know what I am going to do with all the cookies??

I've been Tagged!! List 6 habits or facts about yourself

1. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I just love the meaning and the reason why we celebrate it! My family is the greatest and I am so thankful for each and everyone of them.... And of course the food, my Grandma spends weeks preparing for it, then after we eat we all go bowling! It's the best way to burn off all those calories!

2. My all time favorite food is cereal. I could live of this for all three meals. I'm really not picky about what it is, as long as it has some suger. But my all time favorite is cap'n crunch.

3. I have become quite a football fanatic. Ever since being married to Grant, I have really been getting in to all of the football games. Even watching them at home on T.V. We have our season passes to the U of U and I look forward to every game we go to. I can't wait for next week when we play BYU! There going DOWN!!!!

4. I am addicted to shopping! Especially when I find bargains..I seriously could go everyday, if I had time and money. I can not wait until the day after Thanksgiving, that is the best day to shop! Me my Mom and sisters get up at 2 or 3 in the morning and it is an all day adventure!

5. I love to fish and camp. Fishing is so relaxing to me and I love sleeping under the stars. Nothing better than sitting around a campfire and telling stories.

6. Last of all my middle name is Pearl. I am the fourth generation! I was named after my great Grandma. Grant is so funny he always calls me "Pearl" and it makes me fell like an old lady!
