I cAn'T BeLieVe I aM 27!!

I cant believe I am 27 now...I must admit that I am starting to feel old! I am close to 30, yikes!! Every time that I think about being old, I just think of Grant being 33:) LOL..I had a great Birthday. It was so nice for Grant and I to have the day off school. We had a great day with just the three of us. We got ready and then headed up to Cowboy grub for lunch, this place is one of our favorites!! We use to go all the time before the Utah football games. We haven't been there for a while, so it was fun to go. Then we headed up to Park City. It was fun to see all the leaves changing, and then we made our way over to the outlets!! Grant was so sweet and took me to the mall to pick out some Toms shoes that I wanted! They are seriously the comfiest shoe. Oh and bonus for every pair you buy they donate a pair to a child in need(how cool is that?). Then we headed home and just relaxed, and went out later that night for frozen yogurt!! Thanks Grant for making my day so special!!
Oh and P.S. While we were shopping at the outlets we found this funky mirror that changes your body shape. Well when Jordyn stood in front of it she looked like a midget!! Any one that knows me knows I am fascinated with them...We seriously laughed so hard.

She is pretty cute as a midget!!

ScHoOl, ScHoOl aNd MoRe ScHoOl!!

School started back up on August 25th..It has been keeping me so busy, I hardley have any time to myself now, little lone keeping up my blog. I can't believe I am almost done. I only have 1 and 1/2 semesters left(YAY)!!!! I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I love being a second year. Clinic is so fun, I seriously do love cleaning teeth. I know know it sounds disguisting, but not for me:)! We now are learning how to give anesthesia. We gave shots for the first time last week, it really wasnt that bad. Everyone did really well...Here are some fun random pics from school, we have the best girls in my class. It's so much fun being with them all day, we are like a big family.

Grant is also keeping busy with school. He is in week 9 of the police acedemy. He only has 8 weeks left!! I am so proud of him, and how well he is doing. He comes home exhausted every day, but still helps me out so much. They have to do such hard work outs! It's crazy how many sit ups, squats and pull ups they have to do. His abdominal wall punctured through his stomach last month, if that tells ya anything!(poor guy) The Dr. said he will most likely need surgery from it. He is definitely getting in shape, and I do have to admit that I love it. He is one SEXY man!! I know these next few months are probably going to be crazy, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I know it will be worth it when we are done...Grant will graduate on November 18, and I will graduate in May!!!

ThE StAtE FaIR!

Friday night we decided to head on over to the State Fair! Jordyn was so excited to ride the mini horses and go on the carousal! She would not stop talking about it...She was in heaven. She went on a ton of horse rides(I think she just might grow up to be a cowgirl, she is obsessed with horses)! Then after that we took her on the carousal(another horse) a few times. It was so fun to be together with just our little family. We ate yummy pizza, cotton candy, saw all the animals, played games and got our old fashion picture done. Which by the way made my Dad's day. He loves hanging the old pictures downstairs in his Mountain Man room:) He tells us every year to get one..Hopefully we will be better at doing this! I am just loving this stage Jordyn is at. She is understanding so much, and loves to do things. She hasn't quite hit the terrible two's yet, I am just praying she never does! Wishful thinking, right!?!

SeRvICe PrOjEcT!!

Last week I had an amazing oppurtunity to do a service project for school! About 6 girls in my Hygiene class met at a church to teach Refugee's the proper care for their teeth. Most of them had no clue on brushing and flossing. There were 45 refugee's that we taught. They were the neatest people!! They were so friendly. They had nothing, but were so thankful for everything! We had a few translators, since the majority of them did not speak English. We also had little kits to give them with a toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste! I was grateful I had this oppurtunity. Serving others makes me so happy! I would really love to travel to other Countries and clean teeth...maybe one day!?!

The whole group!
She was the cutest little girl. Her name was Norma(she is 14 yrs.ol)Kristi, Brooke, Brooke H, Me, Natalie, Roxanne

Yay!!! Football season has begun. I seriously love this time of the year, it is my FAVORITE!! Fall is here, football starts, Halloween is around the corner, our anniversary, leaves are changing, fall decor comes out, pumpkin cookies(I could go on and on).. It's just the best:) We took Jordyn to the Utes game last Thursday night and she did so good. She loved cheering for the Utes, and would clap every time she saw the ball. She lasted the whole game, and even ate a hot dog with her Daddy!! She is so excited to go another game this week. We have season tickets and its so nice to always sit by the same people. We are actually becoming quite good friends:)

Sorry about the nose picking!
Well here's to another fun season...GOOOOOO UTES!!!

KaRiLeE's SurPrIsE 30Th B-dAy PaRty!!!

Last week me, my Mom, sister(Amy) and Grandma threw a surprise party for my sister Karilee! It turned out great, she had no clue. We went with the 80's theme since she loved that era:) You know the one piece outfits, side ponytail, boombox and tapes. I found the best picture of her and blew it up! I also went threw the rest of her pictures growing up and had them placed everywhere. My Mom and Grandma made all the yummy food. I was in charge of all the decorations. I sprayed painted old tapes and vhs videos neon colors and hung them everywhere. I also found a whole bunch of neon slap braclets, sunglasses, and friendship braclets. Those were the center pieces on the tables. Then we had 80's music playing, and found a whole bunch of old school candy(bazooka, pixie stix, pop rocks) and had it laying out. We made a Strawberry shortcake cake with lots of yuumy cupcakes. It was such a fun party and Karilee was so shocked we pulled it off! I can't beleive she is 30. She is such a great sister and also my best friend! I love her to death and I am so thankful to have her in my life:) Love ya Wee's.
